Harold’s TKO Earns 2014 Top Stoppage Honors

SALEM, N.H. – JT Harold’s (North Andover, Mass.) first round TKO victory against Brett Trahan at Combat Zone 48 was so stunning that it has won honors as CZ's 2014 Stoppage of the Year Award.The victory improved Harold to 4-1, including a perfect 3-0 record in CZ events, while Trahan dropped to 7-2.
Harold’s TKO came after a steady ground attack from Trahan until he was able to flip Trahan on his back against the cage. After some solid initial defense from Trahan, Harold was able to break through his guard and hit his opponent with a barrage of punches, forcing referee Kevin MacDonald to stop the fight.
Harold’s victory earned him a title fight against another top ranked welterweight in Nick Alley at CZ52 on January 30, 2014.
